Let’s Spiral Our Standards

Presented on June 7, 2017

Studying plants in K-2 can be fun! The challenge is figuring out how to build upon this topic each year and provide increasingly advanced activities, so that students’ knowledge deepens and grows with each grade level. Join us in looking at how we can spiral the K-2 plant standards so that students will progress from a solid foundation in kindergarten, to mastery of the full standard by the time they finish second grade. We will also offer fun and effective plant-related activity ideas for your classroom!
